Incyber Technology proposes the establishment of the Kleptography Research Center (KRC) - a dedicated national facility focused on securing Malaysia’s cryptographic integrity, defending against algorithmic manipulation, and ensuring absolute trust in national communications and encryption systems.

Kleptography, the study of hidden data exfiltration within cryptographic systems, represents one of the most advanced and least understood threats in modern cybersecurity. By addressing these covert risks, Malaysia can safeguard its sovereignty in the digital domain and lead the region in secure cryptographic infrastructure.

To position Malaysia as the regional leader in cryptographic integrity, kleptographic defense, and algorithmic sovereignty - protecting government, defense, and industrial communications from hidden manipulation or external interference.

  • Develop trusted national encryption frameworks and verification tools.
  • Certify and audit cryptographic systems to ensure freedom from manufacturer-level vulnerabilities.
  • Build Malaysia’s independent cryptographic ecosystem, reducing dependence on foreign security standards.

# WHAT IS THE KLEPTOGRAPHY?

Backdoored by Design

Kleptographic systems are intentionally designed to leak secret information (like private keys or messages) only to the attacker, while appearing secure and functional to everyone else.

Undetectability

The most dangerous aspect of kleptography is that the backdoor is hidden so well that even security audits or code reviews may not reveal it.

Asymmetric Exploitation

Often uses asymmetric cryptographic techniques so that only the attacker, who holds a secret key, can exploit the backdoor.

Not a Hack-It’s Architecture
