The Minister of Home Affairs, YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, attended a special technology presentation by Incyber Technology at Kampung Rambong, Baling, focusing on the deployment of advanced solutions to enhance Malaysia’s border security and monitoring infrastructure.
The discussion centered on the integration of cutting-edge technologies to strengthen border checkpoint operations, improve situational awareness, and enhance data-driven security decision-making across key enforcement zones.
During the session, Incyber Technology presented the Mongoosta System, an advanced platform integrating AI-powered situational awareness based on the latest IMSI technology, combined with VDF (Video Direction Finding System). A live demonstration using Mongoosta’s mobile command platform (car unit) was conducted for the Minister and senior officials, illustrating the system’s capability to collect critical information, locate suspects with the aid of VDF, and track mobile device activity for deep analytical assessment to detect abnormal behaviour and potential threats.
The Home Minister expressed appreciation for the initiative and emphasized the importance of adopting innovative and locally developed technologies to address modern security challenges, especially in border and rural zones.
The event also provided an opportunity for local authorities and technical teams to engage directly with Incyber Technology’s research and development experts, exploring possibilities for pilot deployments and inter-agency collaboration under national security frameworks.
This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s broader commitment to modernizing security infrastructure, enhancing intelligence capabilities, and supporting local innovation in Malaysia’s growing cybersecurity and defense technology sectors.
